About Your Birth Your Way
Experienced Doula and childbirth educator
Hi, I’m Heidi — a birth doula and Lamaze certified childbirth educator based in Linn County, proudly serving families throughout the surrounding areas. My passion is supporting families through every stage of the pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey.
I believe every mother and family deserves compassionate support, clear guidance, and strong advocacy to help you have Your birth, Your way. My goal is to create a calm, empowering environment where you feel informed, confident, and cared for — no matter how or where you choose to give birth.
It’s an honor to walk alongside families during one of life’s most meaningful transitions, helping them welcome their babies with confidence, love, and joy.
My Approach
I believe every family deserves the right to have the birth experience they desire—one that feels safe, supported, and respected. My role is to walk alongside you, offering guidance and reassurance no matter where or how you choose to give birth. Whether your journey takes place in a hospital, at home, or in a birth center, I’m here to help you (and your support people) feel confident, empowered, and cared for every step of the way.

I like to meet with you twice in person during your pregnancy, I attend your labor and birth, and provide 2 postpartum visits as well. And of course unlimited text and phone support!
Do you accept insurance?

I take private pay and Medicaid insurance- IHN (Inter community health network), Pacific source, and Open card plans.
If you have a health plan that will cover doula support that I am not contracted with, I can provide an invoice and receipt for you to get reimbursement from your health insurance company.

Childbirth education
I am a Lamaze certified childbirth educator, and while I am no longer teaching classes at the hospital, I do offer private classes in your home. I go over the 6 healthy birth principles, and will help you to create a birth plan.
